Third European Meeting in Fulda, Germany


Driven by the success of the last two years’ events, the 1/87 Vehicle Club’s German members are happy to announce the third meet outside of North America. It will take place from October 14 to 16, 2005, in Petersberg-Steinau, located on the outskirts of Fulda, Hesse, and not too far from Frankfurt/Main in central Germany. We invite model builders and collectors alike, whether they are club members or just interested in 1/87th scale vehicles, and whatever their particular field of interest in H0 scale models may be. The weekend will offer plenty of time for making new friends and “talking plastic” during and between the planned events:

Friday, October 14  

ca. 8 pm

Arrival, dinner and informal get-together
Saturday, October 15  

from 10:30 am

Exhibitor access

11:30 am- 5 pm

Model and diorama show and contest (please make sure to reserve a table); sales booths of selected hobby shops and small series manufacturers such as Bastian, Gunter’s Car Company, FMB Unicorn, JFK, JMK, Prometheus87, Modellschmiede Madeleine, Miniature Realism, and others (changes might be announced on short notice). As a first, Herpa will be present.

4-5 pm

Modeling workshops on various topics (depending on availability of tutors)

5-6 pm

Announcement of contest winners

8 pm

Dinner and discussion of future Club meets and events
Sunday, October 16  

ca. 9 am

Breakfast and informal get-together
