A-Line has announced imminent release of a new Carrier brand refrigerator unit for reefer trailers. This nose mounted unit is certainly welcome to modern truck modelers. A-Line is also releasing a fifth wheel modification kit that includes a reducer "bushing" to reduce the size of the opening in Herpa fifth wheels and a new brass kingpin to fit.

AWM announced a Setra S317 GT HD tour bus, VW Bora(Jetta) station wagon. VW Golf IV station wagon, DAF 95 XF space cab tractor, Scania topline 4R tractor, and the Iveco Eurostar.

Brekina announces the 1956-58 DKW 3=6.

Busch-Praline has announced that their new models for 2000 will include an Auto Union Type C (circa 1936), the Smart Cabrio, Mercedes Benz C series, Opel Commodore (circa 1967), Borgward Isabella Coupe (circa 1957), Mercedes ML 55 AMG, a facelift of last year's Chevrolet S-10 Blazer as a 1998 model, and a 1990 Dodge Ram van (this is a cargo version of the Chrysler minivan, without side windows). Classic Metal Works has announced that their third set of models will include a 1958 Chevrolet Impala Coupe, 1957 Chrysler 300C, 1953 White van delivery (straight truck), and a 1953 White fuel delivery truck. Expected delivery is Fall, 2000. The initial run of the first four models is sold out. These are likely to become collectors' items so get them while you can!

Herpa announces a BMW 3 series wagon, MB C-Class 2000 (possibly), Wartburg 353 '95 taxi, Wartburg 353 '66, MB CL Coupe, and the BMW Z8 (already released as an advertising model).

Noch announces the Audi TT Roadster convertible, Audi A3 5door, Audi A2, and Ford Focus Sedan.

Rietze announced the Audi A2 ultra compact 5 door and Skoda Octavia station wagon (Igra).

SES announces Opel Manta A, farm tractor with trailer and load, Perlini Industrial Dump Truck TS 25, Trabant Cabrio, Messerschmidt mini-car from the '50s, and a Setra S 140 bus.

Wiking announces the 1970 Opel Manta and 1970-1972 Mercury Capri.
