This is yet another example of what happens when a creative modeler just can't leave well enough alone! This exceptionally nice model of a Barber-Greene asphalt paver began as Classic Construction Models brass Caterpillar AP1055 asphalt paver. Dan used genuine Barber-Greene paint purchased at his local Caterpillar dealer (Cat purchased Barber-Greene and still stocks the paint) and made his own decals using a color copier (and lots of trial and error, Dan says!).
