This impressive set of railroad flatcars loaded with Caterpillar construction equipment it from 1/87 Vehicle Club president, Dan Goins. The models are assembled InterMountain Trailer Train flatcars with a load consisting of one Classic Construction Models brass Caterpillar IT28 integrated tool carrier (back, left), two Norscot diecast 315CL excavators (back, right), one Classic Construction Models brass 953C tracked loader (middle, left), two Norscot diecast D5H dozers (middle, right), and one Norscot diecast 966G wheel loader (front, center). As you can see, some of the cars have sets of mining equipment spare tires also. We'll feature each individual railroad car and load in forthcoming Photo Galleries.
