Manning Christmas Parade - By Bob Clark

To the sounds of an oompah band, the Christmas Parade is about to begin in the Town of Manning. Santa rides high upon the fire department's oldest and most cherished engine, surrounded by proud firefighters, Boy Scouts and well wishers.

The engine is a Busch American-LaFrance pump bed with a Sheepscot International R-190 cab. The photo was taken on a module owned by The Portland Terminal Modular Model Railroad Club. The Christmas decorations are those used by doll house collectors. This photo from Bob Clark was one of the entries in our recent 2003 Holiday Model Contest and tied for first place in the "Holiday Scene" category.
