Freightliner/Thomas School Bus - By Jim Groeneweg

Here's another view of Jim Groeneweg's great looking Freightliner/Thomas school bus. The body is from a Herpa school bus and was slightly modified to resemble a Thomas bus. The rear wheel arches were rounded and flared, the rear bumper is changed to the Thomas syle, and the Bluebird symbol is absent in the new paint. The hood and nose are from an RMM resin kit. Paint is base/clear coat in authentic Thomas bus colors and the interior is updated to the gray, more modern look. The bus wheels are from an Athearn Ford C truck. Also shown in Photo Gallery 173.
