This Caterpillar 385B excavator model from Wade Thornton is completely scratchbuilt with the exception of the cab which came from a Norscot Caterpillar 315 excavator. The model is made from Wade's own hand poured resin molds. Features of the model include breakdown capability to depict transport version (also allows for different booms to be attached), detailed engine and fans, full hydraulic lines, detailed track, and undercarriage. Boom, stick, and bucket are all movable.
