This terrific looking auto hauler by Jamie Groeneweg was built using a Jacobs Models Peterbilt 378 resin cab kit with the sleeper converted into a flat top. Details include modified head rack on the truck, tool boxes, battery boxes, bumper, lights, mirrors, mud flaps, and exhausts. An Athearn frame and wheels and tires were used. The trailer is a heavily modified Atlas unit with a scratchbuilt section over the rear wheels and a new low-mount hitch system. Decals are from Pen Bay and A-Line. Shown loaded with various Wiking 2004 Volkswagens. Winner of the Best Modern Vehicle Category at the 2004 National Convention held May 29, 2004 in Ontario, California.
