London Taxi - By Kai Wing Tsang

About a year ago, Kai Wing Tsang reports he asked the Group about whether there was a London Taxi in 1:87. He adds, "The group told me about the BS Design kit. Here it is. Not in black, but in burgundy. Apparently London Taxis are not always in black. Note the taxi light in clear amber. The group also helped me with my question about what to do with a gash on the side of a MB 600. I used the filler and the sand paper recommended by the group. The gash used to be on the rear door. I painted the chrome window surrounds and over the wheels arches because they were amongst the prominent features of the real car. The colour is a variation of what I did with the taxi. It is actually one or two coats of metallic red over metallic blue. I was hoping to achieve claret, a colour that is a bit less formal than black. I am submitting these long overdue pictures because I managed to have these cars with your help and wish to thank you and share with you the results."
