Plainville Police Recovery Truck & D.A.R.E. Race Car - By George Brown

Here's George Brown's Plainville Police Department recovery truck we showed you back in Photo Gallery 225. The Boley International flat bed tow truck has been marked with homemade police decals for the PPD. Blue strobe lights were added to the light bar and the body was weathered with chalk. Conspicuity striping from Microscale was applied to the sides and rear. The NASCAR race car #313 "The Wagon" is from Motorworks. No modifications were made to this vehicle marked as a Dodge. It was stripped and homemade police markings were complimented with racing sponsor decals from a Johnny Lightning vehicle. The racer was styled similar to #303, the D.A.R.E officer's Ford Crown Vic patrol unit. These PPD vehicles are parked by the vehicle trap and entrance for the community's prison. To the rear is a Lineside Models 97 Ford E350 that has been sanded to remove the Club wagon windows. This vehicle serves as the PPD's paddy wagon.
