This is one of two identical models Andy Park completed for the owner (a good friend of his) and driver of the 1:1 rig which is a 2003 model DAF 4x2 tractor with the 480 engine. The tractor model is pretty much stock Herpa, but with a scratchbuilt 1,200 litre tank and aluminum tool locker mounted on the chassis nearside, Michelin men on the mirror arms from Memo, painted Humbrol French blue and finished with custom and TL decals. The trailer is a slightly kitbashed Albedo Nooteboom semi-low (single drop) converted from 4 axles to 3 and the load is from an old OO gauge railway set.
