Chester Fesmire sent us this photo of his Kenworth "Needlenose" project. Chester relates that Dwight Denton, of Meguntic Miniatures was nice enough to fulfill a wish that Chester had made in on-line forum looking for one of these out of production Ulrich models. This is one of the old Ulrich KW Needlenose tractors that has been repainted in automotive lacquers. It has the following additions: Sylvan photo-etched mirrors, Herpa wheels and tires, Jordan headlights, Athearn bumper, Dennis Aust air cleaner, and Lonestar turn and cab running lights with an aluminum visor. The oil cooler is a piece of welding rod. The old Chevy pickup in the background is a Williams Bros. piece.
