Here are some more shots of the Midland Western Star along with Jamie's Western Star. This truck was made from a Jacobs Model cab with a modified Italeri sleeper making it a raised mid roof integral style!! Scratch built items include rear mudflap/taillight bar, half fenders,deck plate, Merritt style step boxes, fuel tanks, battery boxes, exhaust stacks, mirrors and bug deflector. All of this is mounted on an Athearn (lengthened) chassis with A-Line front wheels and Dennis Aust rears and air breathers!! Front bumper is from the 379 kit; all chrome is Alclad except for the visor and grille which is BareMetalFoil. Paint is genuine Midland colors in Base/clear auto paint. Trailer is a Walthers 53' Stoughton with a 72" spread tridem suspension added and a Herpa TK Thermo King reefer, A-Line fuel tank and safety stripes, all other decals are from J-Bot.
