Chester Fesmire says he didn't want to just put another cab on the Athearn wrecker and he wanted a two axle unit so this is what he came up with. The model is a real potpourri including the IH LC180 cabover cab from Sheepscot Models as well as the door decals. The bed is from the Wiking Peterbilt wrecker cut at the wheel wells and put back together. The wrecker unit is the Athearn Holmes with new cables and hooks and all is on an Athearn Freightliner chassis. Mirrors, cab step and deck plate are from Plano. Wheels are from Don Mills on Alloy Forms tires with an Alloy Forms exhaust. The tail lamp lenses are from Lonestar Models.
