Promoting Excellence in HO Scale Vehicle Modeling

New England Patriots "Field Taxi" - By Glenn Williams

Professional football arrived in New England on November 16, 1959, when a group of local businessmen, led by former public relations executive William H. "Billy" Sullivan, Jr. was awarded the eighth and final franchise in the new American Football League. Thanks to the new golf cart model from JL Innovative Design, and the decapitated head and helmet from a McFarlane’s Sports Picks Legends “John Elway” (with apologies to Bronco fans everywhere), it is now possible to pay a little 1/87th scale homage to the three time Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots! Glenn Williams built this little "field taxi" from a rich imagination without benefit of a prototype photo to work from. Photo submitted by Bob Clark.
