Promoting Excellence in HO Scale Vehicle Modeling

1940 Ford Tudor Sedan - By Chester Fesmire

Chester Fesmire characterized these photos as a little exercise in weathering he did to the Jordan '40 Ford Tudor. Chester painted the model with a rust colored paint first (Polyscale rust mixed with RR tie brown) coat and then used a liquid mask in several spots. When dry he applied a coat of Floquil light blue. Then it's a matter of flicking the mask off to reveal the rust under. The rest was done with washes and chalks.
