Fritz Dahlin built this hi-rail welding truck. Fritz began with a Masterpiece step van with a bed from a Trident utility body pickup, Details West hi rail equipment, and scratchbuilt mirrors, welder and water cooler. It is based on an RF&P welders rig shown at Northeast Rails web site, shown here. It was painted with Model Flex and Poly Scale paints and lettered with Microscale and custom decals for Fritz's model railroad's MOW forces.
