This model from Arnold Tamminga is based on the Herpa DAF 3300 6x4 tractor. Arnold modified the suspension so the model is raised a little (the prototype is 2" higher than the standard version). An extra fuel tank is added and all air tanks and the battery box where mounted on the chassis. In front of the cabin a 'bullbar' was made from a Mercedes bullbar by Kibri. On top of the roof a heatshield (an extra roof) and an airconditioning unit were added. All the painting is done by Arnold's wife (with a small paint-brush). The prototype was used in dessert conditions.
