First-time contributor Jim Balogh tells us he has been modeling in 1/87th scale for over 30 years. It started with trains and the vehicles were only an afterthought. After a while the interest in vehicles took over and now the trains are secondary; sounds familiar to many of us doesn't it? This Mack MR snow plow came about from the bashing of mostly Matchbox vehicles.  Cab is from a Matchbox rescue truck and the bed is two Matchbox snow plow/spreader beds combined. These are supported by an Athern Freightliner chassis. Plow and spreader are from Kibri with other details coming from Herpa, Alloy Forms and MV Lenses.
