This spectacular tow truck model was built by Jamie Groeneweg. The name may look familiar; that's because Jamie's dad, Jim, has several photos that appear in the current and previous Photo Galleries. The model is based on the Kibri Scania tow truck kit. The frame and wrecker body from the Kibri kit were used. The cab is, of course, the resin Kenworth T800 from Dennis Aust. Jamie scratchbuilt the 42" sleeper bunk. All the "chrome" trim is Bare Metal Foil; all those marker lights are accessory parts from Lonestar Models. Terrific modeling!
