Fred Gruin built this Middlewest Freightways rig using an Athearn Freightliner tractor cut down to a day cab configuration with A-Line mirrors and wheels on the steering axle, Alloy Forms wind deflector, scratchbuilt spare tire holder on the frame behind the cab, and Athearn battery box, fuel tanks, and wheels on the drive axles. A Rail Power Products 48' wedge van trailerwith Ken Goudy decals completes the combination.
