Jim Groeneweg reports he built this model around the time the Atlas Ford LNT-9000 truck tractor was introduced (February 1998). Jim converted it into an 8000 series dump truck. He used Lee Town wheels and tires, bumper, and mirrors were along with a modified Lindberg gravel dump box with an exhaust stack of aluminum tube. The truck is painted in Pacific Green Metallic, a '97 Ford color and the dump box is Humbrol gray.
