Kevin Shanahan built these models that represent a company that hauls heavy pipe sections to construction sites. The tractors are custom painted brass four axle Peterbilt 379 truck tractors from Classic Mint Collectibles. The trailers are extensively kitbashed Herpa single drop deck three axle trailers equipped with Herpa/Kibri knuckle boom cranes for self-unloading. The trailers have Lonestar Models wood decks and have been fitted with outriggers for stability when unloading the pipe. The low profile wheels and tires are from Dennis Aust, decals are Microscale and A-Line, and the license plates are from Howard's Hobbies. The pipe sections are from Tichy.
