This model was inspired several years ago by a photo on Hank's Truck Pictures web site in the Fred Gruin collection. After after it appeared previously in Photo Gallery 526 David was contacted by Fred Gruin with an offer of some Ed O'Keefe cab decals for his model. These so improved the look of the cab that David says he just kept adding details; cab number to match the prototype, license plates, MV lenses, wipers, narrowed track width on the steering axle, and some subtle weathering. The camera shy driver has always been in cab.
