Jim Groeneweg of Jacobs Models sent us this photo of three Freightliner FLC truck tractors. Jim says #18 (rear) is a 1981 based on a truck that Jim used to drive. It belonged to his friend and had a 380 Cat with straight pipes. Jim says he loved the way it "barked" when the Jake brake was applied.

Truck #19 (front) is based on an '84 model with a 400 Cummins that belonged to Elgin Leasing that he drove for. Truck #21 (middle) is based on an '88 with a 400 Cummins that Jim drove for a couple years. Jim says all the prototype trucks were painted white and other than painting them for his fictitious trucking company, they are all true to prototype!
