This heavy duty flatbed tractor-trailer unit was modeled by G. Sauter. The tractor started out as an Athearn Freightliner that has had the frame extended, tag axle added, and additional details such as headache rack, roof light bar, extended mirrors, and air filter intake scoop added. The trailer was built from two Athearn van floors that were cut and spliced, wood floor added, and then weathered. The pipe load was fabricated from PVC pipe components.
