Promoting Excellence in HO Scale Vehicle Modeling

Refrigerated Freight Lines Truck Fleet - By Ray Foot

New Zealand modeler Ray Foot built these Refrigerated Freight Lines 42' semi trailers. On the left is an FV113 (Detroit Diesel powered) Fuso, in the middle is a K121CR Kenworth, and on the right is an FR Mack. Trailers are scratchbuilt and the Fuso is a resin cab. The Kenworth was built using a Promotex cab that has been modified (shortened to day cab) while the FR Mack is a Ralph Ratcliffe Models resin cab. The RFL FR Macks had a locally made mini sleeper attached to the back of the cab. New Zealand built F model Macks were classified as an FR because they were built on an Mack R Model chassis, which was more right hand drive friendly than the standard Mack F Model chassis.
