A Sylvan Scale Models resin kit provided the basis for this model from Rick Hoskinson. The cargo bed and rear portion of the underframe came from ADP as well as the wheels and tires. Scratchbuilt items include lollipop mirror, exhaust system, license plate frames, and tail light housing. A modified Roco pintle hitch was added as well as A-line windshield wipers and MV products tail light lens. Paint is Panzer gray. The canvas bed cover was made of tissue paper and formed over brass supports. Weathering was done with washes and dry pigments. Decals for license plates are from TL. Inspiration for this model came from images Rick found on the kfz der Wehrmacht website. These trucks were used commercially as well as militarily by countries such as Belgium, Holland, and others in the European Theater of Operations during World War II.
