Finishing in a 3rd place in the Facebook 1/87 Scale Vehicle Models' group 2017 Build Challenge is this 1960 Ford F500 fire tanker built by Brian Donato that began as a Classic Metal Works 1960 Ford stake bed truck (shown in bottom photo). Brian lengthened the chassis, used a Bic lighter for the tank body, and the rest was scratchbuilt along with the front bumper area. An Athearn strobe light on the roof was added along with Busch spotlights.
