Finishing in a 4th place tie in the Facebook 1/87 Scale Vehicle Models' group 2017 Build Challenge is this 1960 Ford F600 dovetail flatbed farm implement hauler that started as a Classic Metal Works 1960 Ford yellow dump truck (shown in the bottom photo). Alan Olson cut the frame and extended it three feet with Evergreen styrene strip, extended the driveshaft and rerouted the exhaust. The flatbed delivery body was built from styrene strips with a copper micro-mesh deck, tool box, eyebolt hold downs, and a scratchbuilt winch. The model is painted John Deere green with computer-printed decal door sign. The truck is shown delivering a 'new' Athearn John Deere JD520 tractor.
