This Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad ("Katy") piggyback rig was built by Bob Johnson using an Atlas Ford LNT-9000 tandem axle truck tractor and a Trainworx 40' Brown trailer. The Atlas model has received extensive upgrades; Plano Model Products photo-etched grille and mirrors, Athearn spoke wheels (stripped and repainted) and tires, painted fuel tanks, and decals. The tractor decals are from a Microscale N scale locomotive decal set and the tractor received a coat of Dullcoat for a prototypical sun-baked red appearance.
