Promoting Excellence in HO Scale Vehicle Modeling

Clark Oil Service Station - By Bill Badger

One of Bill Badger's friends has connections to the Clark family that founded Clark Oil gas stations many years ago. Bill's friend found an HO laser kit for a gas station and wanted to built it as a gift. When it came out that he had not built a model kit for at least 50 years, Bill offered to help. Laser cut wood is great for wooden buildings but it is a stretch for metal. In any case, Bill pitched in and here is the result. The focal point is the gas station and the cars (Oxford Die cast models) are just props, so they are right out of the box. They are way too new for Bill and he says he would have had a derelict Model T Ford, assorted junk lying around, and the cars would have had a bit of Vermont dirt on them, but the gas station was the focus, so there you have it.
