The FDNY has two Tactical Support Units, TAC2 with Rescue 5 on Staten Island and TAC1 at the Special Operations Command on Roosevelt Island adjacent to Manhattan. Dirk Wieczorek has built TAC 1 from a Trident model of a Ford F-350. The original crew cab was shortened and the front was rebuilt to resemble the older late '80s Ford F style. The whole body, crane, light-tower, boat and tools were scratchbuilt. The decals were made by Dirk on his PC.
