International Pickup - By John DaPos

John DaPos started with an 87RPM resin International pickup that he shortened the bed on from 8-1/2 feet to 7 feet. These were both bed sizes offered by IH at the time. John did this to accommodate the reefer unit (Roco signal cabinet), an idea credited to Richard Olsen. For the truck John added a steering wheel, mirrors, wipers, and rear bumper. The wheels are from Classic Metal Works and John used Krystal Klear for the glass. The cab was sanded down to remove unwanted details and John added a chrome door handle and reefer unit. Decals were made on a computer. He made the tailgate operational by carefully cutting it, separating it, and using black thread for the tailgate chains.
