First, Second and Third Place Awards in each category, plus a Favorite Model, will be decided by popular vote of convention attendees.
In addition, the following Special Awards will be determined by a panel of club judges:
MOST DETAILED MODEL - The model with the highest level of modeler-applied detail
BEST FINISH - The best finish applied by the modeler: not a factory finish. Could be showroom-shiny or weathered and rusty!
BEST KITBASH - Make a unique model by combining parts from 2 or more different sources.
BEST SCRATCHBUILT - The model must have over 50% modeler-fabricated parts.
BEST VINTAGE VEHICLE - Best model of a prototype built in 1941 or before.
BEST CLASSIC VEHICLE - Best model of a prototype built from 1942-1973.
BEST MODERN VEHICLE - Best model of a prototype built since 1974 (the last 30 years).
BEST REPLICA - The model that best duplicates a real vehicle as documented by photographs, pictures or diagrams displayed with the model.
OLDEST MODEL - The model (not prototype) built by the modeler with the earliest completion date. We want to encourage display of early models!
YOUTH AWARD - The best model entered by anyone 18 or younger.
BEST IN SHOW - The model judged best overallFill out the Acrobat Contest Entry Form online for each model.
