Peter De Alba built this tow rig mainly in recognition of his friend's time behind the wheel of AAA wreckers in the '70s, but also in homage to tow truck drivers everywhere, the unsung heroes of the highways and byways. The model is an amalgamation of Atlas' 1973 Ford pickup and Trident's Chevy tow truck with scratchbuilt and commercial details: notable are the Plano mirrors and wipers. Finish products used: Tru-Color paints, Molotow Ink, Tamiya Panel Line Accent and Pledge Floor Care.
